boil and mash as normal.

I prefer to cook them separately and then mix together in a large bowl.

Add butter and seasonings and nutmeg to taste.

Spread fairly thinly on an ovenproof dish.

Score deeply with a fork making a nice pattern (a crown pattern is nice).

Drizzle some olive oil and a little more nutmeg.

Grill until golden and crispy.

Is really good with Chicken passata. Any root vegetable can really be used including pumpkin, squash etc
