1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Cut cheese into 8 strips per slice.
3. Make a slit along the entire length of the hot dog that's about 3/4 of the way through the hot dog.
4. Wrap a slice of bacon in a spiral around the hot dog and use tooth picks to secure ends of bacon to the hot dog.
5. Bake at 400 degrees F for 11 to 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
