| 9" pie shells: 1 shell (unbaked) |
| eggs: 2 (large) |
| all-purpose flour (unsifted): 1/2 cup |
| granulated sugar: 1/2 cup |
| light brown sugar (packed): 1/2 cup |
| salted butter: 3/4 cup (softened - or - melted and cooled to room temp) |
| milk chocolate chips: 1 cup (or semi-sweet choc chips) |
| walnuts (chopped): 1 cup |

Tastes just like....Toll House Cookies! This is a sturdy pie and travels well for a picnic or a potluck.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat eggs until foamy. Add flour and sugars. Beat until well blended. Blend in butter. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Note: you may reduce butter to 1/2 cup if you wish.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between outside edge and center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream!
