| granulated sugar: 3/4 cup |
| salt: 1/2 tsp |
| ground cinnamon: 1 tsp |
| ground ginger: 1/2 tsp |
| ground cloves: 1/4 tsp |
| eggs: 2 (large, beaten) |
| canned pumpkin: 15 oz |
| evaporated milk: 1 1/2 cups (12 oz) |
| 9" pie shells: 1 shell (graham cracker is good!) |
| salted butter: 2 Tbl (melted) |
| all-purpose flour (unsifted): 1 Tbl |
| light brown sugar (packed): 1/2 cup |
| pecans (chopped): 3/4 cup (chopped) |
Try it with this delicious crumb topping
Mix sugar, salt, and spices together in large bowl. Add beaten eggs and pumpkin and mix well. Gradually add milk.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 50 minutes (until knife inserted in center comes out clean).
Top with streusel topping and bake additional 10 minutes.
Streusel:
Combine butter, flour, sugar. Mix in nuts.
