| salted butter: 1 cup |
| light brown sugar (packed): 3/4 cup |
| granulated sugar: 3/4 cup |
| baking soda: 1 tsp |
| salt: 1 tsp |
| vanilla extract: 1 tsp |
| eggs: 2 |
| all-purpose flour (unsifted): 2 1/4 cups |
| semisweet chocolate chips: 18 oz (3 cups) |
| walnuts (chopped): 1 cup |
| seedless raisins (packed): 1/2 cup |
In large glass bowl melt 1 cup (2 sticks) butter in microwave for 2 minutes (until completely melted).
With electric mixer blend in 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup white sugar.
Then blend in the following: 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs Then mix in: 2 1/4 cups flour
Then mix in: 3 cups (18 oz) semi-sweet choc. chips 1 1/2 cups walnut pieces (chunky, not chopped fine)
Drop by rounded tablespoon (golfball size) on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350' to 375' for 9 to 11 minutes. Do not overbake. Let stand 2 minutes then remove to wire racks to cool.
