| salted butter: 1 cup |
| all-purpose flour (unsifted): 2 cups |
| light brown sugar (packed): 1/2 cup |
| salt: 1/4 tsp |
| semisweet chocolate chips (chips): 2 cups (divided use) |
| canned condensed milk: 14 fl oz (sweetened condensed) |
| pecans (chopped): 1/2 cup |
| raspberry jam: 1/2 cup (1/3 to 1/2 cup seedless.) |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat butter until creamy. Beat in flour, sugar, and salt until well blended.
With floured fingers, press 1 1/4 cup of crumb mixture onto bottom of greased 13X9 inch baking pan (save remaining mixture).
Bake 10 minutes until light golden brown.
Combine 1 cup choc. chips and milk in small pan. Melt over low heat until smooth and spread over hot crust.
Stir nuts into reserved crumb mixture and sprinkle over chocolate filling.
Drop teaspoonfuls of jam over crumb mixture. Sprinkle with remaining choc. chips.
Continue baking 25 - 30 minutes.
Cool completely on wire rack.
