| pasta (fusilli bucati): 4 oz |
| red tomatoes (chopped): 2 cups |
| olive oil: 2 tsp |
| salt: 1/4 tsp |
| fresh basil (chopped): 1 Tbl |
| grated parmesan cheese: 1/4 cup |
| black pepper: 1/4 tsp |

1. Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain.
2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan combine tomatoes, olive oil, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat until heated through and tomatoes start to juice-out slightly. Stir in the basil.
3. Divide pasta among 4 plates. Top each serving with some of the tomato mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pepper. Makes 4 servings.
