- Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, and beat after each addition.
- Add flour, dividing into four additions. Pour into 10-inch round tube cake pan.
- Grease only the bottom of the pan for a smooth even cake.
- Bake at 325F for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
