| baking powder: 2 tsp |
| margarine (oleo): 1 1/2 cups (softened) |
| granulated sugar: 1 1/4 cups |
| light brown sugar (packed): 1 1/4 cups |
| eggs: 2 (large) |
| vanilla extract: 1 Tbl |
| milk chocolate chips: 1 1/2 cups |

- Cream margarine, white sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Mix in baking powder and cake flour until blended.
- Gradually add all purpose white flour until blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by tablespoons onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper 2 inches apart.
- Bake 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 375°F or just until set and slightly brown on the bottom.
- Remove and cool on wire racks.
