| bacon: 0.5 lb (6 strips cooked crisp) |
| swiss cheese (shredded): 1/2 cup |
| eggs: 3 (large) |
| whole milk: 1 1/4 cups |
| frozen pie crust: 1 crust (baked) |
Use your own pie crust or store bought
Crumble the bacon and strew in the bottom of the pre-baked pie shell. Sprinkle on all but a spoonful of cheese.
Add eggs to enough milk to equal 1 1/2 cup and mix well.
Pour this "custard" over the bacon&cheese to within 1/8 inch of the rim. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
Bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
