| red wine: 5 cups |
| orange juice: 1/2 cup |
| lemon juice: 1 tsp |
| oranges (cut into sections): 1 tsp |
| lemons (cut into sections): 1 tsp |
| light brown sugar (packed): 2 tsp |
| brandy (Cognac): 1/2 cup |
| ginger ale: 2 cups |
Pour wine into a pitcher or jug and add the orange and lemon juice.
Toss in the fruit slices (leaving out pips if possible) and any extra fruit you choose. Add the sugar and brandy.
Chill overnight. Add the ginger ale or club soda just before serving.
